The Threepenny Opera: A Read along

A play is meant to be seen not just read. In lieu of a full performance, in this course, we will be reading out loud Bertolt Brecht's The Threepenny Opera (1928) and discussing them together. We will discuss how we understand the different dynamic between characters, how lines (should) sound, and how we imagine putting them on stage.
